Як зробити замовлення на компанію, не переборщивши з кількістю
Організуйте спільний стіл, спираючись на реальні порції, різні апетити та чітке маркування.
Count people, then count portions
Start with the number of adults and children, expected appetite, and whether the meal is a snack or a full dinner. Ask the restaurant how its trays and combination plates translate into servings. A menu photograph cannot reliably show depth, weight, or the amount of bone in a meat dish. One platter described as 'large' may be designed for a very different group from another.
Avoid repeating the same role
A good spread can include a main, a grain or potato side, vegetables, bread, and a fresh or tangy accompaniment. Ordering several rice-heavy dishes alongside extra rice can create more leftovers without adding much variety. Choose a second main because it brings a different flavor or meets a dietary need, not simply because there are many people. Keep sauces separate so guests can adjust their own plate.
Make sharing straightforward
Ask for labels on similar-looking vegetarian and meat dishes. Provide separate serving utensils and check allergies before the food arrives. Tell guests what is in each container without guessing. Put out manageable amounts and replenish safely rather than leaving every perishable tray on the table for hours. If there are leftovers, offer properly stored portions instead of letting everyone take food that has been sitting out too long.
